The Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing program including product marketing, marketing communications, channel marketing and marketing programs.
Reporting: This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Education: Technical undergraduate degree such as BSEE or BSCS Masters degree preferably, MBA. Both degrees from marquee schools would be a plus.
Experience: Minimum ten years experience in the telecommunications industry, at least five of these must have been in a management position. Mandatory that the candidate has a career path that shows consistent growth and promotion in the marketing discipline with companies that build and supply equipment to the ILEC, CLEC et al, telecommunications sector. A career that included significant time at Cisco, Nortel, Alcatel, Siemens etc. would be a plus. Candidates without this experience from other optical networking or access equipment companies such as DSL will be considered.
